This project is to bring together diverse people who might otherwise never be able to afford single family housing so that they can group-purchase a property and develop it together into a community for those involved.
This project is still under development but interested parties can deposit here to "buy-in" to the cooperative.
Deposit COST $50.00
In order for it to be worth the cost of consulting professionals, Folk Living, under the direction & protection of FolkWoman, will be collecting "membership fees" in order to research and develop a feasibility plan for the development of a Cooperative and Circular Economy Community model here in the Regional District of Skeena, BC.
We will be operating and developing in the Regional District of the Kitimat-Stikine and create the opportunity for low-income, high-risk lenders, to buy-in as well, develop equity, or to continue to reinvest in the community for other developments, such as:
Off-Grid Power Plan
Low-Emission(s) Solid & Personal Waste Plans
In-kind Economy & Skill Sharing
Internal & Cooperative Education for All Ages
Circular Economic Model
Local Resource Procurement & Labour
Internal Transportation Plan
Leadership & Contribution Opportunities
